Tip Jar Tuesday

The restaurant industry standard is to provide your with crew portable fire extinguishers in well-marked, easily accessible areas, because using portable extinguishers is the quickest way to put out small kitchen and dining fires! Some establishments have complete fire suppression systems built into the ceiling of the building, but even in those cases it’s important to have portable extinguishers available.

OSHA requires you to establish and educational program to familiarize your workers with the general principles of fire extinguisher use. Make sure everyone you hire knows what to do with a fire extinguisher in the case they must use it!
